Not only is it a nice "retrofit" (read: super-easy) can light that puts out a super-wide spectrum 2700k-6500k white light (it doesn't get much warmer or cooler than that) that's very easy on the eyes, but it does the "RGB" ring thing which can be used for a lot of different things. It can be synced to music to "amp up the party", it can be set to a particular color to illuminate something, or what I'm using it for, a really nice low-key night light in whatever color I'm in the mood for. Kind of a 'mood lighting" thing. It's very flexible.

Also, it's nice that Lumary actually has their OWN APP (yay!) rather than relying on some questionable "universal app" like the TUYA app so many lighting manufacturers use (ugh). Good job, Lumary.

These lights are very cool, very "utilitarian", and very easy to install into your existing cans. It's so easy you could probably let the kids do it if you give them a ladder. 5 stars, and another fine product from Lumary.

The new can adapter is much easier than the original compression fitment fits directly into original can ring mount. Additional rgb ring is a nice touch

It is so nice to have a recessed Light that will do more that just dim down. these lights are so cool, I'm put them in my dinning roon kitchen area, all 4 in a row... and they are LED (13 watts) and use much less power than the big Lights i had in there. these are easy to install, but be careful if you need to go really high on a ladder. so glad I got them..

These really are retrofit, there's nothing to installing them! You need a can light already. Included with the kit is a device that looks like a regular light bulb, it screws right in and then the rest of the light fits with the included clips. After that, the app is very easy to understand and you can adjust brightness, color temperature, and even the color of the ring in the lights, or voice control it. Plus, your regular light switch always works like it did, the lights remember what they were last set to and come up the same way. Nice and bright.
