First and most important - the lumary app is customized Tuya/Smart life app.... Just use Smart Life it's well laid out and trusted in several countries. Much better experience with Tuya.These are nicely made compared to several other brands. I'm less happy with having the large box to put in ceiling but the metal build only way to go vs all plastic which I would not want to worry about melting is worth some extra hassle.3" provides very little brightness though I'm planning on replacing a china cabinet light with this so a good fit.I would not use a 3" downlight even a lot of them for a main room light - more of a picture highlighting or over a recliner if you have a permanent recliner position.

Guys, if you want to do something that your spouse is going to love, get these! They were easy to install. The color selection is phenomenal. They dimmer is awesome! They are a very quality! I'll be getting some more soon for some other places in my house!

Lumary is an amazing company with amazing products. I have several Lumary products and have been extremely impressed by them all. This recessed light set comes in a pack of 4. They are 3” in size and are extremely easy to install. The app is easy to download and works flawlessly with their products. These look fantastic anywhere you decide to install them. I am very happy with this product and this company.The price is worth every single penny.My only complaint would be the fact these were shipped in the actual product box with a label put on the box itself and so the item arrived in a badly damaged box but this is Amazon packaging issues and not Lumary.

I wanted to put a small recessed can in the corner of our gym. I wanted something that I could control based on many different rationale so I needed it to connect to smart home systems online via wifi.Installation was a snap. The light comes with a metallic box to run the romex wire. You will need to purchase romex clamps that fit in to install it properly. The enclosed wire nuts work great and get you going in no time.In order to determine the size of the cutout there is an enclosed template. Once you have the hole opened up, wire up the unit to the box and then screw in the light to the box via the easy built-in connector.I enclosed a picture of my phone to show how I installed it with the smarthome app. On powerup, the device will flash to indicate that it is ready for pairing via wifi. All I had to do was open up the Smart Life app and given that I opened it just after I powered it up, the light was automatically found and asking me to complete the setup.Once it was connected to the smart life app, I could control it fully from either the app, or in my case, Home Assistant software. The Amazon Alexa integration was also flawless given that the Smart Life app creates the bridge that you need to make it connect o Alexa.Then pick a color - any color. Or pick a white color type (warm to cool). Want it to dim? You can control that too.I use it to provide a low intensity light when I use my exercise bike I built an automation that lets me know if someone has pressed the doorbell. If the doorbell is pressed, I turn the light green so i wont miss anything being delivered.Great small light that was perfect for my application.

These recessed lights are great! They connect through Tuya's platform, so chances are you might already have an account ready to go for them. It's simple to set up through the app, and I like that they have a low profile light with a separate box for the electronics, as it makes installation easy since you can wire up the box on its own without having the entire light in your way as you do it.
