These permanent outdoor lights take some time to install. I would set aside an afternoon to do it. The results are worth the effort for permanent outdoor lighting that is customizable to fit the seasons. You can also take them down from the detachable bases if you prefer to put them away. If you love to entertain, you are going to be floored by these.As permanent lighting, the lights are adequately bright and illuminate the roofline the entire length of the house, making me feel safe when approaching and departing. I don't mind how they look under the soffits - at first I objected to hanging permanent lights because I thought they would look tacky. Now, I don't even notice them.You can change the color and brightness with the remote or app, and there are 55+ scene modes. The app has a little bit of a learning curve, but it's not horrible. I used to loathe hanging Christmas lights and now I don't have to. Hallelujah!I think these lights are a good value and would recommend them to anyone looking for permanent outdoor lighting that has a ton of settings for the holidays or cool vibes.

Setting them up wasn't too bad, and they seem really sturdy and built to handle the weather here. After about a week, my lights stopped working. I reached out to Fiona at Lumary, and she promptly sent me a new power supply and controller pack to troubleshoot the issue completely free! Unfortunately, the lights still didnt work.

I did some further testing and discovered that one strand of lights was faulty. I contacted Fiona again, and she immediately sent me a replacement strand without any hassle. Swapping them out was a breeze thanks to the slide-in design, and once connected, everything worked perfectly!

I wasn't really planning on upgrading my outdoor lights, but after installing these, I'm glad I did. The color options are endless, I've already used them for a birthday, a weekend BBQ, and just messing around with different looks at night. They're bright without being harsh, and I like that I can dim them down or go all out depending on the vibe. Putting it on took a little patience, but once it was up, the control through the app and Alexa has been super convenient. What I really love the most is how clean they look during the day, totally blends in until the sun goes down. Definite recommend from me!

I really like these holiday / all purpose lights. They are well made, they are very bright, limitless color choices, well engineered for installation making it easy to use. Granted, in this set there are a lot of lights which will make it a bit time consuming to install, but when done, they function perfectly. They are relativity easy to untangle considering the number of lights and length. This particular brand, Lumary, may be the most user friendly brand I have tried and I have tried several brands. Unlike other light controlled apps I have dealt with, the app Lumary has is among the easiest to use. I cannot begin to describe all the different variations, options, colors and patterns you have control of, your imagination is the only boundary. There are literally millions of colors and patterns that can be accomplished with these lights. In my video, it being the 4th of July, I only used three colors, but even with just three colors I spent at least an hour playing with all the options of how I would use them. In the background of my video you can hear the celebration, I felt as I was in a war zone. Once Christmas gets here, I will move these lights to the eve of the house and then I will have so many colors in the mix. I’m sure I will spend more time exploring the color and pattern options than I will installing them. You can even set the pattern to music. To install these lights, you have options. Each light has a base that you can put a screw in or use the 3M tape that is on each light. The light simply slides onto the base and Is secure, so you don’t have worry about the lights falling down. Once I do have them permanently mounted, I can use them as ordinary lights, just set them to the type of light I want (I’m thinking in terms of temperature, white light), they aren’t just for holiday celebrations, they are just functional. As I mentioned, I have several different brands of holiday LED lights, but none compare to the overall experience and quality of these lights. If you are serious about your festive lighting, for the money, I don’t think you can do any better than these lights, they are indeed a true value.
