Lumary Smart RGBAI Recessed Light: Versatile 4-in-1 Lighting

These smart light are really good and modern. Very bright with lots of features around of main light. The only thing would be suggest to make the main line to have an option to change colors.

The light is easy to install, I was switching out 'dumb' recessed lights so cables and hole was already cut.

Lights them selves have a temperature tunable white light in the center that can get very bright and a halo of 12 lights that are each tunable to any color and comes with effects of pulsing or chasing around the center light. In the app they are treated like two separate lights, and this is what shows up in your smart home set up as well.

Lumary is bang for its buck compared to the big names. Their products themselves are top notch, I have been using them for years. The app has some quarks, and could use some more intuitive features, but small price to pay.

I had an issue with Google home not working with Lumary. Started a support ticket and they did something on their end with in 12 hours and fixed the issue. Was very surprised and happy at how good the support was. Have only used support twice in the 5 years of Lumary, both times they resolved my issue quickly.

Have started work on transforming the unfinished basement to my man cave. I needed some can lights for the area and came across these. I previously had some slim led cans from this brand before and have been very happy with the quality and customer service when needed. I saw these are a newer model that has an LED ring across the top that can do some cool effects. Got them installed today and was surprised on how easy they were to install. Some simple electrical and paired up right away with my Smart Life app. Once they are setup up on the app you can change the led ring to some cool effects. The ring is segmented (RGBAI) so you can change sections or the whole ring. So I can set the color ring on game days to my teams or make them festive for hosting during the holidays. Overall happy with the features for the price. My ONLY wish/con at the moment is that you cant have the color ring on and the can at the same time.

Overall very happy with the purchase and plan on getting more soon to complete my man cave.
