Lumary Smart RGB Gimbal Light Ultra 4 Inch

Easy to set up and looks quite nice

I have one long hallway and I also have some really pretty, large, framed artwork. Most are not like really horribly expensive, but I did invest in two pieces, one of which I bought back in the day - in the 1970s - as a signed, limited lithograph that is worth a great deal more today than what I paid for it back then and it is still an arresting piece. The other is a relatively famous artist's piece that, after his death, his family (who are artists in their own right) have printed one of his famous pieces on canvas and they have re-created his actual piece in his style of brushstroke and palette work and it is gorgeous with all the colors and brushstrokes that bring the piece to life. I mention these pieces as they hang in my long hallway and I had thought about getting those lights that mount over the framed piece to illuminate it, but I didn't like how they are further away from the wall, meaning someone might hit it with a ladder or broom handle or such. I saw these and that gimbal feature is just what I thought would work to show off my artwork. The hallway had one central light fixture so my electrician guy took the fixture down and used the wiring after drilling the holes for a pair of these on either side of the hallway, mounting and connecting them. I was able to add them on my phone to Alexa easily enough and with a step-stool (because I'm short), I was able to move these gimbal lights to shine on my artwork just the way I want them to. I have had a lot of fun looking at the artwork under different colored lights as well and of course the different types of white light as well. These are a bit pricey, but they are SO worth it!

This light is super easy to install if you already have power and you are simply swapping this light for an existing 4 inch can light. If this is a new install where there wasn't a light previously then you will need some serious skills to install this light. The brightness is acceptable. The quality is good. It connected to Wi-Fi easily. The colors are good but I will need to investigate to see if I can get it to fade in and out of color changes rather than the quick change as seen in my video. All in all this light performed well!

The recess light has great features and now with the Gimbal feature makes it totally awesome .it gives you incredile control for different days including as as a spot light on normal days and the already available music sync make it so good when hosting parties. A awesome light for everyday and its a different light on different occasion.

COB LEDs: The high-cost COB LEDs used in these lights provide ultra-high brightness, uniform light distribution, natural color rendering, and an extended lifespan. The difference compared to traditional LEDs is night and day.

Adjustable Brightness & Color Temperature: The app control is fantastic! I can adjust the brightness from 1% to 100% and tweak the color temperature between 2700K and 6500K. Whether I need soft reading light or bright working light, I can customize the lighting to suit any setting, enhancing comfort and adaptability.

Music Rhythm Mode: This feature is a game-changer for gatherings. The lights sync with the rhythm of my music, creating dynamic lighting that pulsates to fast beats or softly glows to slow melodies. It's magical for parties and special occasions.
