Amazing value for a smart sprinkler timer

I was skeptical due to the low price, but these sprinkler timers work wonderfully. Reading other reviews, I skipped using Bluetooth connections and utilize the included gateways instead. A gateway will work with multiple timers, but just make sure to use a gateway that is sharing a wall or otherwise nearby; I did this and setup was very smooth.

The sprinklers work manually with the hardware buttons, or can run on demand for a configurable duration using the app. Every outlet can be configured independently (name of zone, schedules, irrigation duration).

Only flaws so far: the irrigation history does not seem to include the scheduled runs, only those on demand; the smart home automation (in another part of the app) will do on/off but will not follow the timer setting-- I set one button to open all the sprinklers but it did not turn off on it's own. I don't think I'll be using the home automation feature in the future and will just use the schedules and manual runs.

Overall, really excellent, especially for the price.

This has been awesome to keep my garden watered when I'm not home.

Worked great for new grass seed

I'll start off with, the app is not my favorite. It's a little clunky and confusing about where to go initially. Eventually you'll get the hang of it and how to handle it, but I feel like a solid UI designer could come in and make some quick suggestions. Regardless, it is working great and has been running for 2 months now without issue. Batteries are holding up great, no loss of connection that I've experienced, and is consistent.

One thing that I found hilarious was that I had this and another "old school" timer on the same splitter, and when this one would shut off, the pressure from the shut off event would trigger the other timer to start, even if it wasn't on it's schedule. I believe it was just due to the mechanism on that timer, but a fun story to explain why you were watering your lawn for 2 hours without knowing it...
