These deck lights are great! SO easy to install and even easier to connect endless amounts! they do need to be wired to a box to plug in, but we went to the home store and easily found one, plugged them in and were up and running! The app is fairly easy to work - not overly easy but after you get the hang of it it is fine. The controller works well, depending how far apart you space them will depend on how many times you click it to get them all on/off color changed, etc. We will be purchasing more to extend our lighting because we love them so much!!

A Path of Resistance to a Path of Least Resistance
Now that the weather is optimal, it's time to get my evening walks in; however, safety is key. I have a few steps that descend from my front door to the walkway and in the dark of the night, I missed a step and lost my footing. We got these lights to illuminate our front steps and they have been a brilliant purchase. I was impressed by their sleek design and robust build to withstand outdoor conditions. The color changing feature add character to the front of my house, really leaving a magical feel to it. I was pleased with the brightness of the deck lights; I could finally see several feet in front of me so no more falls. The installation on the other hand was not so straightforward, at least for an amateur like me who has zero lighting installation skills. The power supply requires proper handling and connection of the transformer to convert standard 120 volt to the low 12-volt voltage needed. This was beyond my scope so an electrician friend of mine came over to save the day. This job certainly takes some expertise in electrical so once that's squared away, the results are well worth it.

So, this brand I have grabbed a few different outdoor light sets...I love them all. Very well made, high quality, bright, and great color.
Setup of the control is easy and works well. I don't have issues with dropping the connection. It also reconnected when the router lost power and came back up.
Housing is good quality, rugged and dense. Color stays well in direct sun.
Seems to be a good housing as well, no moisture or dirt build up in the light
