Lumary RGBAI Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro

This is not my first Lumary product, but is the first of this type of lighting. Linking these to the app was fairly easy. There was a small issue where the app said it could not connect to the lights, but upon starting a second attempt, it showed up on the app as being installed.
The response time of changing colors is almost instant. There are 7 LED chips in each light. This consists of 3 bright white LEDs, 3 soft white (yellow tint) LEDs, and 1 color changing LED in the very center of the light.
When setting up the lights for a custom display, the 40 lights are set up into 2-light segments. For example, lights 1 & 2 can be blue, 3 & 4 yellow, 5 & 6 red, and so on. This allows you to display as little as 1 color at a time, or as many as 20 different colors at a time. This is just for displaying solid colors. You are also able to dim the lights, but only as the full strand. Dimming each individual light segment is not an option.
There is a part of the app that allows you to display preprogrammed scenes, or you can customize and save your own scenes. When customizing lighting scenes, in most cases you can control the brightness/dimming of the lights, as well as the speed of the scene sequence.
The reason for giving this product 4 stars (I would have done 4-1/2, but that's not an option) and not 5 is due to the lack of control of the preprogrammed scenes. You are not able to dim the lights or control the speed of these scenes. A lot of the preprogrammed scenes are pretty cool with how the lights blink, chase, flash, or however they change. They would be even better if you could adjust the speed of how the blink, chase, or flash.
The only disappointment that I had with these is the lack to be able to change the colors of some of the preprogrammed scenes. I have some 6" recessed Lumary ceiling lights that allow you to take a preprogrammed scene and change the colors to you specific liking. This is not a major disappointment as there are numerous options available through the app to customize your own scene, and then save it, but it would be a nice option to pick a scene that you like and be able to adjust the colors of it.
The last item to note is the installation method. Each light has a 3M tape pad on the back. Once in place, Lumary provides enough nail-in wire clips to be installed every other light. For the price, and considering that these are designed to be a permanent outdoor light, I feel that there should be enough nail-in clips provided for every light, not every other light.
Overall, I think these lights are great. I do feel that they are a bit on the pricier side for the length/number of lights that you get, but that does not take away from these being great lights.

Took me and my son about 7 hours to install 228' on our home. We found a video online that showed us how to make a guide (pics attached) to make sure all the lights were the same distance off the house and in a straight line.
We have received so many compliments from friends and neighbors!! Can't wait to light up the house for ALL the holidays! Works great for security purposes as well, as it keeps the house lit up.

I have been looking for lights like these for a long time. Easy to install. This is the combined strands of 53 and 13 ft. The app is great but lacks instructions. Highly recommend!
