Lumary Smart Retaining Wall Light (8Pack)

I purchased these in the hopes of using them in my new outdoor sitting area. I have other smart lights including some from Lumary. These were more difficult to install than others. These require a low voltage power supply (sold separately). These permanent lights so that makes more sense on why. These have to be hardwired instead of just plugged into an outlet. These are very bright. I used 3 so far and plan on using the others around the outdoor area. I had to create a group and add all those lights to a group in order to manage them all together. Otherwise I had to manage them one at a time.

These lights are nice quality and caught my attention as soon as I took them out of the box as they feel like they are made well and fairly heavy duty. The first thing you'll need to know is that you need to buy a transformer to convert from a wall plug to low voltage. There are lots of options out there and they are fairly inexpensive. I got a waterproof version that can stay outside in the elements. Set up is a little more advanced than for your basic user. You'll need to know how to do some simple wiring and splicing however it's fairly straightforward and most people should be able to figure it out. There's plenty of wire included with this kit so if you're careful and plan ahead you should be able to cut some pieces to allow you to run from light to light in series. The lights mount easily and can be used in a variety of locations. The app works well if you have good Wi-Fi signal and the ability to leverage the Lumary app which is great if you have other Lumary products. These have a full array of colors which is awesome if you like to entertain. There are also pre-configured "scenes" that allow you to quickly change between different color modes and settings. You can leverage your phone microphone to pick up on sound if you want these to react to music. I have had great luck with lumary products and expect these to perform but long term outdoor use will still need to prove their weather resistance. Overall very nice so far!

Love the look of these lights. Very easy to connect and use. The only tricky part is install depending on your setup. But with some practice and patience, I got it right and they look fantastic. The lighting does a good job of illuminating a wide area.

II. Installation C Theyre easy in theory and also in practice for some locations, but not all. Ultimately, its simply just a set of lights that are 7 in thatll need to be mounted and the low voltage power run to them.
III. Performance C They work fantastic by providing a semi-bright, enjoyable lighting effect and a ton of options to make it worthwhile all year long. It provides a great look to the house that includes a very clean looking light that can be set to match so many events and decors depending on your needs.

Overall, this is a great choice, thatll provide a fantastic lighting effect to enjoy year round, whether on a wall, steps or yard, these are a great addition to the house. Ill be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
